Puncak - 2 hours from Jakarta by car

From tranquil family bungalows to larger hotels with business meeting facitlities, Puncak has something for everyone. Taman Safari Indonesia
Animals from all continents roam freely in this 35-hectare park, 75 km southeast of Jakarta along the Jakarta-Bandung route. Among the animals kept here are some comparatively rare species such as the anoa, rhinos, giraffes, white tigers and European, American as well as Asian bears. Adjacent to the park are recreational grounds with swimming pool, tennis courts, an artificial lake, a waterfall and a children's playground with facilities such as a circus arena, a house of horrors, a merry-go-round and a small circuit. There are also restaurants, cafeterias and other facilities.

Puncak Pass
Puncak means Summit, or the top. It is one of the most popular places for people from Jakarta and Bandung to spend their weekend away from the pollution of the city. The vast area of Gunung Mas (Golden Mountain) is carpeted in thick green tea plants, and offers magnificent views over the landscape as well as beautifully fresh air. Cipanas Presidential Palace
Located in the City of Cipanas, 15 minutes away from Puncak Pass, is the beautiful and stylish wooden Presidential palace. There is a colorful and flowery vast garden arrayed around this palace.

Cibodas Botanical Garden
Located in the district of Pacet, 22 kilometers northwest of Cianjur, the Cibodas Garden Park, also known as "Paradise on Earth", graces an 80-hectare area; it was founded in 1890 for natural preservation. Cibodas Botanic Garden has a long and important history of research and conservation. The early history of Cibodas Botanic Garden is also the early history of what is now one of Indonesia's most significant National Parks and a World Heritage Area, Mt Gede-Pangrango National Park. Cibodas is renowned as one of the first tropical research stations in the world, and numerous scientists have used the station for their research on tropical rainforests.
